Artist's Description
This was my first of three attempts at shooting the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park in Maine. Half way up the mountain there was a moment where I could actually see well enough to see the fog hanging over the landscape below. I was able to fire off one shot before the fog rolled back in and I could not see anything. Undaunted, I headed to the top of the mountain only to find the thickest fog I have ever seen. That is until the next morning.
